- A very brief guide explains what Accountable Care Organisations are and how they could benefit patients and the NHS. According to this guide the two areas closest to creating an ACO are Dudley and Manchester, and if the proposed contract goes ahead it would be rigorously tested on these two areas before being made available for other parts of the country.
