  • Frailty as measured by the Clinical Frailty Scale, but not the FRAIL scale, was found to be significantly associated with length of stay and discharge in elderly (>65yrs) patients awaiting elective total joint replacement. 
  • Study details: A prospective, observational, study (Hopital Maisonneuve-Rosemont, Quebec, Canada) of patients 65yrs or older awaiting elective total joint replacement (n= 87) .
